This week we began a two week thematic unit on Easter. We made many Easter crafts throughout the week.

Everyone loved painting with watercolors
The students made these cute handprint flowers. We have them displayed in the hallway, they make our school look cheery and ready for Spring!
Our class was the lucky recipients of free tickets to the Southern Miss basketball game on Wednesday night. The Golden Eagles played in the opening round of the NIT tournament! Everyone was very excited to cheer on the Golden Eagles!

Report cards will be sent home Monday. Please review your child's progress, sign and return the next day. Practice any skills that your child may not have mastered during this assessment period. Thursday, March 28 - SPRING PICTURES! Students may wear "spring" clothes and do not have to wear their school uniforms on this day.
Thursday, March 28 - EASTER EGG HUNT AND PARTY! The egg hunt will begin at 1:00 PM, a class party will immediately follow. If you would like to help with refreshments please let me know ASAP.
**SEND 6 PLASTIC-CANDY FILLED EGGS - by Tuesday, March 26. We will hide these eggs for the hunt on Thursday. Also your child will need an Easter basket on Thursday to collect their eggs. Please send a basket by Thursday.**
Friday, March 29 - No school, Good Friday/Easter holiday
Monday, April 1 - We will have school on this day, this is the bad weather make-up day from the tornado days in February.
