Cowboys

This week was cowboy week.  The students loved learning all about cowboys.

 We also learned the letter Ee this week.  Elf starts with Ee and we will be start a month long unit on Christmas.  So we made Elves!

Tuesday, December 4 - Pictures with Santa - Santa will be at the PLE library on Tuesday.  All students will get to visit Santa.  If you would like to purchase a picture of your child with Santa please send $5 (cash only) in a marked envelope on Tuesday.  STUDENTS MAY WEAR CHRISTMAS CLOTHES ON THIS DAY.

Tuesday, December 11 - Kindergarten Musical - Students will perform during the school day for 1st and 2nd grade students.  They will perform again that night, 6:00 PM, for parents.  Admission is $2.00. Please have your child in the PLE gym at 5:50 PM.  Students need to wear pajamas for their costume (Christmas pajamas if you have them).  They will need to wear pajamas to school that day and again that night.

Monday, December 17 - Dining With Dad - 11:00 AM - All dads are invited to lunch with their child.  Our class will go to lunch at 11:00 AM, please meet in our classroom.  Afterwards dads may visit the "Santa Shop" with their child.

Friday, December 21 - Christmas Party - 8:00 AM - Students will be exchanging books with one another.  Please send a $3-$5, wrapped, children's book to school by Wednesday, December 19.  Our class will be singing a few Christmas songs as well, parents are encouraged to attend.  This is the last day of school before Christmas holidays, official dismissal is at 11:15 AM.
