Thanksgiving Feast and Play

This past week we celebrate and learned about all things Thanksgiving.

Watch the video, students share what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving.


The students also presented a play about the first Thanksgiving.  Watch the video to see the students wonderful play!


Everyone enjoyed making pinecone turkeys!  Thanks to Camdyn's grandparents for donating these huge pinecones!






The students enjoyed the listening center this week.  They read the book "The Indian Paintbrush."

Then it was time to feast!















THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to all the wonderful parents, grandparents, aunts, and family that contributing to our feast.  It was all delicious and made our Thanksgiving day perfect!!

Friday, November 30 - Cowboy/Cowgirl Day - Dress as a cowboy/girl on this day!

Tuesday, December 11 - Kindergarten Musical - Students will perform for first and second grade students that day, then perform again that night for parents and family.  The night performance begins at 6:00 PM, admission is $2.00.  Mrs. Rose, our music teacher, has instructed all students to wear pajamas as costumes for the musical.  Christmas pajamas would be preferable but are not mandatory, any pajamas will do.  Students will need to wear pajamas that day to school and again that night for the 6:00 PM performance. 

Monday, December 17 - Kindergarten "Dining With Dad" - All dads are invited to lunch with their child.  I will provide specific lunch times when we return to school, each class will go at staggered times to help with cafeteria flow.  After lunch, dads are welcome to take their child to the "Santa Shop" in the library.

Friday, December 21 - Last day before Christmas holiays, dismiss will be at 11:30 AM

Friday, December 21 - Class Christmas Party @ 8:00 AM - Students will participate in a gift exchange with their classmates.  All students are asked to bring a $3-$5 children's book to exchange with their friends.  Please wrap the gift and have it to school no later than Wednesday, December 19.
