This week we began the first of three weeks on Christmas! We did many cute crafts this week.
The students painted a Christmas tree using giant marshmallows!

The students made their own Grinch and wrote what they would do to make the Grinch grin on Christmas.

Tuesday, December 11 - Kindergarten musical - The students will need to wear pajamas as their costume to school that day and again that night. The students will perform for 1st and 2nd grade during the day that day. The night performance is for family, it begins at 6:00 PM and admission is $2.00. Please have students in the PLE gym no later than 5:55 PM, dress in their pajamas.
Monday, December 17 - Dining With Dad - All dads are invited to lunch with their child on Monday, December 17. Our class will be eating lunch at 11:00 AM, please meet in our classroom and we'll walk together to lunch. After lunch, dads may take their child to the "Santa Shop" if they wish.
Friday, December 21 - Christmas Party - 8:00 AM - Parents are invited to attend the Christmas party. Our students will be singing a few songs. All students will be participating in a gift exchange. Please send a $3-$5 children's book, wrapped, to school for you child to exchange with a classmate. The book should be appropriate for either a boy or a girl. You may send the books early and we'll put them under our Christmas tree at school. Please send the books no later than Wednesday, December 19.
On of the songs we'll be singing at the Christmas party requires a few props. Please send a scarf and a toboggan to school for you child if you have them at home. We'll practice with them during the next week and they'll take them home after the Christmas party.
