Dr. Seuss is on the loose!!

DR. SEUSS WEEK!!  This was one of the most fun-filled weeks we've had all school year.  It was "Read Across America" week and we celebrated the love of reading with Dr. Seuss.

 March 2 is Dr. Seuss' birthday, we had cupcakes for his special day. 

 Cat in the Hat!

 This week we learned digraph th, so we made "thinking thumbs". 

 A fun book was "The Foot Book", we measured how many 'feet' our friends were.

 The students enjoyed many Dr. Seuss books on the iPad. 

 Everyone is becoming such great readers that they were able to read many of the books on their own!

 A fun book was "Bartholomew and the Oobleck", we made our own oobleck!!

 Everyone enjoyed green eggs and ham!

 We read the book "Wacky Wednesday", and had a wacky Wednesday at school.  Check out all those wacky outfits!

 One of the best parts of the week was having guest readers come and share their favorite books.  We enjoyed all our guest!

 To end the fun week, we had a dress-up day.  The students could wear costumes as their favorite characters.

 We all enjoyed a Dr. Seuss celebration in the gym and the Cat in the hat was there too!  He read us the book "Green Eggs and Ham"!

Tuesday, March 6 - Spring Pictures - Students may wear spring clothes for pictures rather than school uniforms.  A class picture will also be taken.  Please send money for proofs or ordering to school on Tuesday.

Tuesday, March 6 - Meal With Mom - Inviting all moms to lunch!  Our class we go to lunch at 11:50 AM, please met in our classroom at 11:40 AM.
