Valentine's Fun

This week we had fun celebrating and getting ready for Valentine's Day.  It was a fun week and we all enjoyed some great books about Valentine's Day.

We especially loved Junie B. Jones and the Mushy Gushy Valentine!

The students wrote sentences telling what they loved and illustrated their writing.

They made some cute crafts this week and we are looking forward to delivering them on Valentine's Day next week!

Being creative and making homemade Valentine cards.

We had tons of fun with conversation hearts this week.  We graphed them by color.....

We stacked them and counted who had the tallest tower....

And we counted them and made ten frames to represent the number.

 Happy Birthday, Karli!

The Kindergarten student of the month for February came from our class!!  Congratulations, Alexis!

 Student of the Week: Koby

Many of our friends were sick this week and not able to come to school, we hope that everyone feels better over the weekend!!  We are looking forward to celebrating Valentine's Day together!!
