This week we celebrated Valentine's Day!! What a great holiday! Everyone had a blast exchanging and receiving some very cute Valentine cards on Tuesday.
The students made some great decorations for the classroom.
Heart sun catchers
The room was bursting with hugs, kisses and hearts! Just perfect for our party.
Their tables were filled with lot of love!
It was fun to deliver the cards and treats to friends.
Thanks to all the wonderful parents that hosted a wonderful class party!
During the latter part of the week, we began a two week unit on U.S. Presidents. This is one of my favorite units to teach all year. And the students always love learning about our great Presidents.
This week we mainly focused on Abraham Lincoln. We learned many great facts about his life. We will continue to learn about Honest Abe and many more Presidents next week.
