Merry Christmas!

This week was an abbreviated week, we began our Christmas holidays Tuesday morning.  We came to school Monday and had an early dismissal on Tuesday.  We finished up our Christmas celebrations and ended 2010 with a fun Christmas party!

Monday we got a special delivery from the North Pole!!

Santa sent us a gingerbread house personalized just for our class!

It was very yummy, thanks Santa!

At our Christmas party the students performed two songs.  One was "I'm A Snowman" (a fun song to the tune of "I'm A Soul-Man").  The song tells how to make a snowman, the students wore some of the snowman accessories and were so cute in their performance!

We also decorated bags to hold all of our Christmas crafts.  The students made some great arts and crafts throughout the month of December!

Tuesday morning was our class party, in addition to the snowman song, the students also sang and signed "Silent Night."  They did a wonderful job practicing the sign language in the weeks leading up to the party and the song was beautiful!

Party time!

Tyler sharing some special gifts for his friends.

Paige making some special deliveries.

Everyone brought a book to exchange with friends.  This was everyones' favorite part of the party.  It was exciting opening gifts!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!  I look forward to hearing all about your holidays when I see you back at school on January 6.
Much Love, Ms. Marzoni

Happy Birthday, Jesus!
