Apples and Pp Week

It's time for fall!! The first official day of fall is this upcoming Tuesday, September 22. But we are all ready for the fall celebrations. We started our discussions of fall with an apple unit. We learned all about Johnny Appleseed, the seasons of an apple tree, the many jobs on an apple orchard, and of course we tasted many yummy apple foods. The students had a lot of fun with this unit! The letter of the week was the letter Pp. We loved learning about this wonderful letter and had fun at our "P Party!" We wore purple, pink, and polka dots and had some yummy-popping fun with pepperoni pizza, pineapple, pudding, and pepsi, of course all served on polka dot plates and polka dot napkins. It was one "perfect p-party"!
