Down on the Farm!

This week our unit was about the farm.  We enjoyed reading many wonderful books about the different farm animals and the foods and resources we get from farms.  We may have a few future farmers in our class!

Muddy farm scenes

Some of our favorite farm books

Everyone enjoyed these farm themed hidden picture books.

One of their favorite activities, the students described the farm animal and gave clues about it for their friends to guess.

Chicken feet!!

Duck-duck-goose on a beautiful spring day!

Popsicles to cool down!

The students have learned so much in Kindergarten, they have really learned how to work in groups, take turns and learn cooperatively.  One way we practice this is to play board games.  They love Candyland and Chutes and Ladders!

Last week our class took turns leading on school on the intercom in the pledge.  We needed one more day to make sure everyone got a turn, Cayden and Hunter did a great job leading on school!
