Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!  We enjoyed celebrating this fun holiday this week.

Everyone wore red and pink for the special day.

The class Valentine party is always fun.  Everyone loves delivering their cards and then opening their Valentine boxes to see all their special cards from friends.

We had to read Junie B. Jones and the Mushy Gushy Valentine!

We loved reading all of the Valentine books.

We also celebrated Mardi Gras this week too!  Thanks, Camdyn, for the King Cake!

In phonics, we learned digraph ch.  We enjoyed "munCHy crunCHy CHow"!  All with foods with digraph CH!

The EXCEL students from the Upper came to visit us on Friday.  They were learning about biomimicry and prepared a presentation for us.  Then they shared science centers with everyone!  I taught some of these smart students in Kindergarten, they did wonderful.  I was so proud of them!
