Monday was Halloween, we had a "Fall Festival" Monday morning and a fun fall party Monday afternoon.

At the fall party the parents organized a fun game of "bobbing for apples"! The students LOVED this!

Our school continued the "United Way" fundraiser this week. The students were encouraged to dressed up for "Hippie Day" and bring $1 for United Way.
This week we learned the letter Kk, we made kites.

The thematic unit this week was "Cowboys". Everyone loved this root in'-tootin' fun unit!

Friday all the students dressed as cowboys and cowgirls.
Joseph, Austin, Koby, Jace, Jacob, Cruz, Gavin, Cody, Cassidy, Systre'n, Charleigh, Zaine and Alexis all had perfect attendance for the first nine weeks. Great work!!

Monday, November 7 - Progress Reports will be sent home, please review your child's progress, sign and return the following day.
Friday, November 18 - Thanksgiving Feast - Our class will be having a feast to celebrate the first Thanksgiving. We will enjoy this fun meal in our classroom. We will not be eating in the cafeteria on this day. Also the students will have a short presentation of the first Thanksgiving before the feast. The festivities will begin at 12:00 PM, parents are invited to come see the short play and help with the feast.
