"Community Helpers" and "Letter Pp"

This week our letter was P!  We had a blast learning all about this letter!

We all wore purple on Friday to celebrate a great week of learning about P, we even danced to the fun song "Purple People Eaters!"  Watch the video to check out the purple people dancing!!

Our thematic unit this week was "Community Helpers." We learned about the important jobs these people have in our town.

Tool Belts

One of the most fun activities was the Community Helper Puppet Show.  The students put on a puppet show and told about the important jobs of the various community helpers.

To conclude our week about community helpers, many community helpers from our town came to visit us at school.  They shared with us about their jobs and how they help us and our families in our community.
