What a fun week! Along with all the learning and fun, our class was featured in a photostory in the Hattiesburg American newspaper!! They came by and took some photos of us learning and we were featured with some other classes from PLE. Take a look! Click on the link below.
This week we learned all about bats. These great non-fiction books helped us become bat experts!

Everyone enjoyed the book "Stellaluna". They made Stellaluna bat puppets and wrote facts about her on the back.
Friday was the 50th day of school. We have been counting each day of school and we were all happy to celebrate this special day. We're half-way to the 100th day celebration!!

Thursday, October 25 - FIELD TRIP!!! Mitchell Farms, Pumpkin Patch - WEAR YOUR CLASS T-SHIRT! Students will be riding the school buses from PLE to the pumpkin patch in Collins, MS. We will leave at 8:30 AM and arrive around 9:30 AM. Parents may meet us at the pumpkin patch or follow the buses from PLE. Parents will need to pay their admission when they arrive that day, admission is $8.00. We will leave the pumpkin patch around 1:00 PM and return to school by 2:00 PM.
Wednesday, October 31 - Fall Party - 1:00 PM - Students will enjoy fall refreshments and parents are welcome to attend.
